R(o)ad Warrior Tunez

Click Image For GoodiesIn Support of the homie Johnny Polygon's current tour (along with road homie Gabe Royal and overall shit-handler, Shellie, who is not the white guy in the picture), I threw together a bunch of songs to keep them entertained as they rock faces off Americans and Canadians alike. Since they've glowingly approved of said mix, figured I'd put it up for all to enjoy and rock other faces off, at a time of your choosing. So, ya. Rock on to some staples, some newnew, and all types of vibes.

Valentine's Day 2011

Make sure your loved one feels special today, and more importantly, all the time.

Halloween 2010

Here's a lil mix I did for a road trip to AC for Halloween. Some songs are pretty kitschy, some are classics but all are enjoyable and have some spook factor to them. Dress up, get down, whyle out and for tonight only, take candy from strangers.

The TwentyTen Collection 4 / 9.14.10

To compliment the NYFW S/S '11 presentation of Collection 4 by white-hot The TwentyTen, the forces at We Came In Peace, Fake Love, as well as the venerable Matthew Barela, created an amazing short video which showcases the line in addition to telling an eerie story of fashion and madness. I selected the accompanying music for the video, and curated a soundtrack for the evening inspired by the song, the experience and the collection. If you weren't able to attend in person, hopefully this mix will give you and idea of what you missed. Sorry I couldn't provide the open bar.

It's Complicated

A while back, some friends and I had a CD mixtape club, where the ongoing theme was to be Compliments. Some in the group took it as if it meant we should compliment each other musically, while others took it more as an opportunity to bestow musical gifts upon the group, compliments of themselves. Not sure what I intended mine to be, but it ended up being a lovers mixtape and I'd love to share it with you. I was too busy being in love yesteday to post it, but it's timeless, so cut me some slack.
